Neotech Instrument Straps
These straps are amazing! Neotech is dedicated to making musician's lives easier (and how many places do that?!). Their straps make holding an instrument lighter, more comfortable—and even more fun than it already is. I swear by them. They have straps, pouches and accessories for ALL kinds of instruments to help us play and carry our instruments with ease. Plus they have a laptop strap (for you non-musicians) that will literally save your shoulders. They are the only straps I use now. I'm a big fan.
Aria Blend Herbal Tea
This herbal blend was designed by The Jasmine Pearl, a tea company I love, for Portland OR's Hampton Opera Center. It's full of good throat soothing herbs, but also has great "mucilaginous" herbs (which sounds icky but is actually good) that help the mucous membranes of the vocal cords stay hydrated. You can't actually get moisture to your cords unless you steam, but this tea helps the body create inner hydration! It's yummy organic Licorice Root, Fennel, Cloves, Cinnamon, Orange Peel, Ginger, Peppermint, and Marshmallow Root.
